I love hearing from podcast fans what, specifically, they love about a show. Reading testimonials that spell out why someone is drawn to a particular podcast is fascinating and helpful to get an understanding of what's in store before jumping in and listening.
One of my favorite parts about a podcast website is seeing images and additional content that coincide with an episode to help extend the story beyond the audio. I’m also a big fan of podcaster newsletters so I appreciate when a podcast website makes it easy for me to sign up - give me all the bonus content!
I love seeing video trailers for podcasts, the web is visual and a compelling short trailer can help hook me on the concept and tone of a show.
